Hallidays have been working on maintaining Flatford Mill for the last 3 years. Our most recent project involved the Design & Install of a fish pass extension to enable the license holder, Flatford Mill - Field Studies Council, to meet their license commitments.
Work also included setting a Gauge Board that allows all hands-off flow license obligations to be met with one hands off level - simplifying the turbines control operations.
This work aims to improve the performance of the fish pass, increase the power output of the turbine and improve the consistency of the hands-of flows to other areas of the mill.
