This work was for a proposed scheme at Broken Scar Weir on the River Tees in Durham.
Planning, designs and licensing was carried out for a 100kW Archimedean screw turbine that would produce circa 468 Mwh/year.
Unfortunately this scheme did not get built as there was some significant push back from the Environment Agency and getting the licence through before the FIT deadline was looking unlikely.
